Javan gibbon
The Javan gibbon, also known as the Hylobates moloch, is a small primate native to the forests of Java, Indonesia. These gibbons are known for their long arms and distinctive vocalizations, which they use to communicate with each other. They typically have a black or brown coat and can weigh between 4 to 6 kilograms.
Javan gibbons are arboreal, spending most of their time in trees, where they swing from branch to branch. They are social animals, often found in small family groups. Their diet mainly consists of fruits, leaves, and flowers, making them important for seed dispersal in their habitat.
