Lar Gibbon
The Lar Gibbon, also known as the white-handed gibbon, is a small primate found in the forests of Southeast Asia. They are known for their long arms and distinctive vocalizations, which can be heard over long distances. Lar gibbons typically have a light-colored body with darker limbs and a face, making them easily recognizable.
These gibbons are arboreal, meaning they spend most of their time in trees, where they swing from branch to branch using their long arms. They are social animals, often living in small family groups. Unfortunately, the Lar Gibbon is threatened by habitat loss and hunting, leading to a decline in their populations.
