James Hamilton, 4th Duke of Hamilton
James Hamilton, 4th Duke of Hamilton (1755-1769), was a Scottish nobleman known for his role in the British aristocracy during the 18th century. He inherited the title from his father, the 3rd Duke, and was a member of the prominent Hamilton family, which played a significant part in Scottish history.
The 4th Duke was also known for his involvement in the House of Lords and his support of various cultural and political initiatives. His brief life ended at the age of 14, and he was succeeded by his younger brother, Alexander Hamilton, who became the 5th Duke of Hamilton.
