Jain scriptures
Jain scriptures are the sacred texts of the Jainism religion, which emphasizes non-violence and truth. The primary texts are known as the Agamas, which contain teachings attributed to Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara. These scriptures cover various aspects of philosophy, ethics, and rituals, guiding followers in their spiritual practice.
In addition to the Agamas, there are other important texts like the Tattvartha Sutra, which provides a comprehensive overview of Jain beliefs. The scriptures are written in several languages, including Prakrit and Sanskrit, and are studied by Jains to deepen their understanding of the faith and its principles.
