Jabal Al-Lawz
Jabal Al-Lawz is a mountain located in northwestern Saudi Arabia, near the border with Jordan. It stands at an elevation of approximately 2,580 meters (8,430 feet) and is part of the Harrat Ash Shamah volcanic field. The mountain is known for its rugged terrain and unique geological features, including ancient rock formations and inscriptions.
The area around Jabal Al-Lawz has drawn interest due to claims that it may be the biblical Mount Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Archaeological studies have been conducted to explore these claims, but definitive evidence linking the site to biblical events remains inconclusive.
