J. C. Bose
J. C. Bose, or Jagadish Chandra Bose, was an Indian scientist born on November 30, 1858. He is best known for his pioneering work in the field of plant physiology and radio waves. Bose was one of the first to demonstrate that plants can respond to stimuli, showing that they have life processes similar to animals.
In addition to his contributions to biology, Bose made significant advancements in microwave technology and was a key figure in the development of semiconductor physics. He invented the crescent moon detector and laid the groundwork for future research in communication technology.
