Itimad-ud-Daula's Tomb
Itimad-ud-Daula's Tomb is a beautiful mausoleum located in Agra, India. Built between 1622 and 1628, it is often considered a precursor to the famous Taj Mahal. The tomb was commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Mughal Emperor Jahangir, in memory of her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg, who held the title Itimad-ud-Daula, meaning "Pillar of the State."
