Irish government
The Irish government operates as a parliamentary democracy, where the President of Ireland serves as the head of state and the Taoiseach (Prime Minister) is the head of government. The government is made up of the Oireachtas, which includes two houses: the Dáil Éireann (House of Representatives) and the Seanad Éireann (Senate).
Elections are held every five years, allowing citizens to vote for their representatives. The government is responsible for making laws, implementing policies, and managing public services. It also plays a key role in international relations and economic development for the Republic of Ireland.
