Indochinese Tigers
The Indochinese tiger is a subspecies of tiger found primarily in the forests of Southeast Asia, including countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar. These tigers are smaller than their larger relatives, such as the Bengal tiger, and typically weigh between 220 to 400 pounds. Their fur is dark orange with narrow black stripes, which help them blend into their forest habitat.
Indochinese tigers are solitary animals, primarily hunting at night. They mainly prey on deer, wild boar, and other ungulates. Unfortunately, their population is declining due to habitat loss and poaching, making them a vulnerable species in the wild. Conservation efforts are underway to protect their remaining habitats.
