The Siberian Tiger, also known as the Amur Tiger, is the largest subspecies of tiger. Native to the forests of Siberia in Russia and parts of China, these majestic animals can weigh up to 660 pounds and measure over 10 feet in length, including their tail. Their thick, orange fur with black stripes helps them blend into their natural habitat. Siberian Tigers are solitary creatures, primarily hunting at night. Their diet mainly consists of large prey such as deer and wild boar. Due to habitat loss and poaching, they are classified as endangered, with conservation efforts underway to protect their dwindling population.
