Ida of Boulogne
Ida of Boulogne was a noblewoman from the 11th century, known for her role in the history of the Crusades. Born around 1062, she was the daughter of Eustace II, Count of Boulogne and Ida of Lorraine. Ida became the wife of Godfrey of Bouillon, a prominent leader during the First Crusade, and played a significant part in the events surrounding it.
Ida's lineage connected her to various noble families in Europe, enhancing her influence. After her husband's death in 1100, she continued to be involved in the affairs of the Crusader states, contributing to the legacy of her family's prominence in medieval history.
