Ibrahim al-Jaafari is an Iraqi politician and physician who served as the Prime Minister of Iraq from 2005 to 2006. He is a prominent member of the Islamic Dawa Party and has played a significant role in Iraqi politics since the fall of Saddam Hussein. Al-Jaafari was born on July 25, 1947, in Karabala, Iraq. After his tenure as Prime Minister, al-Jaafari continued to be active in politics, serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2014 to 2016. He has been involved in various political initiatives aimed at promoting national unity and stability in Iraq, especially during challenging times following the rise of ISIS.
