Humphrey de Bohun, 2nd Earl of Hereford
Humphrey de Bohun, 2nd Earl of Hereford, was a prominent English nobleman born around 1276. He was the son of Humphrey de Bohun, 1st Earl of Hereford and Maud de Fiennes. As a member of the Bohun family, he played a significant role in the political landscape of medieval England, particularly during the reign of King Edward I.
Humphrey succeeded his father as Earl in 1298 and was involved in various military campaigns, including the Wars of Scottish Independence. He was known for his loyalty to the crown and participated in the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314. Humphrey de Bohun died in 1322, leaving a legacy as a key figure in English nobility.
