Houari Boumediene
Houari Boumediene was an Algerian politician and military leader who served as the President of Algeria from 1969 until his death in 1978. He played a significant role in the country's struggle for independence from French colonial rule and became a prominent figure in the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN).
