Ho Dynasty
The Ho Dynasty was a short-lived Vietnamese dynasty that ruled from 1400 to 1407. Founded by Ho Quy Ly, it marked a significant shift in power from the Tran Dynasty. The dynasty aimed to reform the government and economy, introducing new policies to improve agriculture and trade.
However, the Ho Dynasty faced challenges, including resistance from the Trần loyalists and external threats. In 1407, it was overthrown by the Ming Dynasty of China, leading to a period of Chinese domination in Vietnam. Despite its brief existence, the Ho Dynasty is remembered for its attempts at modernization and centralization.
