Henry More
Henry More was a 17th-century English philosopher and a prominent figure in the Cambridge Platonist movement. Born in 1614, he is best known for his work in metaphysics and his defense of the existence of the soul. More emphasized the importance of reason and spirituality, arguing against the purely materialistic views of his time.
In addition to his philosophical contributions, More was also a theologian and wrote extensively on topics such as mysticism and the nature of God. His notable works include "Enthusiasmus Triumphatus" and "The Immortality of the Soul," which reflect his belief in the divine and the significance of human consciousness.
