Henri de Mayenne
Henri de Mayenne was a French nobleman born in 1550, known for his role in the French Wars of Religion. He was a member of the powerful House of Guise and served as a military leader for the Catholic League, which opposed the Protestant forces in France.
Mayenne played a significant role in several key battles during this tumultuous period, including the Battle of Ivry in 1590. He was also involved in the political struggles of the time, particularly in the fight for the French crown, which ultimately led to the rise of Henry IV and the end of the wars.
