Heliogabalus
Heliogabalus, also known as Elagabalus, was a Roman Emperor who ruled from 218 to 222 AD. He was born in Syria and became emperor at a young age, around 14. His reign is often noted for its religious controversies, particularly his promotion of the sun god Elagabal, which conflicted with traditional Roman beliefs.
Heliogabalus is also remembered for his extravagant lifestyle and eccentric behavior. He reportedly hosted lavish banquets and engaged in unusual practices, such as dressing in women's clothing. His reign ended when he was assassinated, and he was succeeded by Severus Alexander.
