Hans Scholl
Hans Scholl was a German student and anti-Nazi political activist, born on September 22, 1918. He was a co-founder of the White Rose, a non-violent resistance group that opposed the Nazi regime during World War II. Scholl, along with his sister Sophie Scholl and other members, distributed leaflets that called for resistance against the oppressive government.
In 1943, Hans Scholl was arrested by the Gestapo for his activities with the White Rose. He was tried and executed on February 22, 1943, at the age of 24. His bravery and commitment to standing up against tyranny have made him a symbol of resistance and moral courage in history.
