The White Rose was a non-violent resistance group in Nazi Germany, formed by a group of students from the University of Munich in 1942. The members, including Hans Scholl and Sophie Scholl, distributed leaflets that called for opposition to the Nazi regime and encouraged people to resist the war and its atrocities.
The group was active until 1943, when several members were arrested by the Gestapo. Despite their efforts, the White Rose was ultimately suppressed, but their bravery and commitment to justice have made them symbols of resistance against tyranny and oppression in history.
