Guilford Courthouse
The {Battle of Guilford Courthouse} was a significant engagement during the {American Revolutionary War} that took place on March 15, 1781, in present-day {Greensboro, North Carolina}. This battle was fought between the {British Army}, led by {General Cornwallis}, and the {Continental Army}, commanded by {General Nathanael Greene}. Although the British won the battle, they suffered heavy casualties, which weakened their forces in the long run.
