Guido Reni
Guido Reni was an Italian painter born in 1575 in Bologna. He is best known for his contributions to the Baroque style, characterized by dramatic use of light and color. Reni's works often depicted religious themes, and he was particularly admired for his ability to convey emotion through his subjects.
Reni studied under Caravaggio and later became a prominent figure in the Bolognese School of painting. His most famous works include "Aurora" and "Saint Michael Defeating Satan." Reni's influence extended beyond his lifetime, impacting many artists and contributing to the development of European art. He passed away in 1642.
