Annibale Carracci
Annibale Carracci was an influential Italian painter born in 1560 in Bologna. He is best known for his role in the development of the Baroque style, which emphasized realism and emotional expression. Carracci's work often featured religious themes and classical subjects, showcasing his mastery of color and composition.
Along with his brothers, Agostino and Francesco Carracci, he founded the Carracci Academy, which aimed to teach a more naturalistic approach to art.
