Great Square of Pegasus
The Great Square of Pegasus is a prominent asterism in the northern sky, formed by four bright stars: Markab, Scheat, Alpheratz, and Enif. It represents the body of the winged horse, Pegasus, from Greek mythology. This square is easily recognizable and serves as a useful guide for locating other constellations.
Located near the constellations Andromeda and Aquarius, the Great Square is visible in the fall and winter months in the Northern Hemisphere. The stars within the square are relatively bright, making it a popular reference point for amateur astronomers and stargazers.
