Enif
Enif is a bright star located in the constellation Pegasus. It is also known as Epsilon Pegasi and is classified as a red giant star. Enif is approximately 700 light-years away from Earth and has a surface temperature of around 3,800 Kelvin, giving it a reddish hue.
As one of the most prominent stars in Pegasus, Enif marks the nose of the winged horse in Greek mythology. It is part of the Great Square of Pegasus, a notable asterism that helps stargazers identify the constellation. Enif's brightness and position make it an important reference point for astronomers.
