Grand Duke William IV
Grand Duke William IV was a notable figure in the history of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Born on April 22, 1852, he was the son of Grand Duke Adolphe of Luxembourg and Princess Adelheid of Anhalt-Dessau. He became Grand Duke in 1912 and ruled until his abdication in 1919, following the end of World War I.
