Grand Duchess Maria Anna
Grand Duchess Maria Anna of Austria was born on September 21, 1683, and was a member of the Habsburg dynasty. She was the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor Leopold I and Infanta Margaret Teresa of Spain. Maria Anna married Joseph I, Holy Roman Emperor in 1708, becoming the Grand Duchess of Austria.
Maria Anna played a significant role in the Habsburg court and was known for her patronage of the arts. She had several children, including Maria Theresa, who later became a prominent ruler in her own right. Maria Anna passed away on May 14, 1754.
