Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich of Russia
Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich of Russia was a member of the Romanov family, born on May 11, 1857. He was the son of Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich and Grand Duchess Maria Feodorovna. Sergei served in the military and held various positions in the Russian government, including the Governor-General of Moscow.
In 1905, Sergei was assassinated by a revolutionary group, which marked a significant moment in Russian history. His death highlighted the growing unrest in the country leading up to the Russian Revolution. Sergei was known for his strong loyalty to the Tsar and his conservative views.
