Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia
Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia was born on April 18, 1890, and was the daughter of Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia and Princess Maria of Greece and Denmark. She was a prominent member of the Russian imperial family and known for her beauty and charm. Maria Pavlovna played a significant role in the social life of the Russian aristocracy before the Russian Revolution.
In 1911, she married Prince Wilhelm of Sweden, becoming the Duchess of Södermanland. After the fall of the Russian monarchy in 1917, she lived in exile in various European countries. Maria Pavlovna passed away on September 13, 1920, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
