Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia
Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia was born on September 3, 1860, and was a member of the Romanov family. He was the son of Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich and Grand Duchess Maria Feodorovna. Paul served in the Russian military and held various ceremonial positions throughout his life.
In 1889, he married Princess Alexandra of Greece and Denmark, and they had three children. Paul was known for his interest in art and culture, and he played a role in promoting Russian heritage. He died on January 9, 1919, during the tumultuous period following the Russian Revolution.
