Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna was the youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra. Born on June 18, 1901, in Saint Petersburg, Russia, she was part of the last imperial family of Russia before the Russian Revolution in 1917. Anastasia had three sisters and one brother, and she was known for her lively personality and playful spirit.
In 1918, during the turmoil following the revolution, Anastasia and her family were executed by Bolsheviks. Her fate became the subject of numerous myths and legends, with some claiming she survived the execution. This led to various impostors claiming to be the lost princess, capturing public imagination for decades.
