Giza Pyramids
The Giza Pyramids are a group of three ancient pyramids located on the Giza Plateau, near Cairo, Egypt. They were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom around 2580 to 2560 BCE. The largest pyramid, known as the Great Pyramid of Giza, was constructed for the Pharaoh Khufu and is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The other two pyramids are the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure. These structures served as monumental tombs for the pharaohs and were part of a larger complex that included temples and smaller pyramids for queens. The Giza Pyramids are renowned for their architectural precision and historical significance.
