Gilaki Language
The Gilaki language is a Northwestern Iranian language spoken primarily in the northern region of Iran, particularly in the province of Gilan. It is part of the larger Indo-Iranian language family and is closely related to other languages such as Mazandarani and Persian.
Gilaki has several dialects, reflecting the diverse cultural and geographical landscape of Gilan. The language is written using the Perso-Arabic script, and while it has a rich oral tradition, efforts are being made to promote its use in education and literature to preserve its unique cultural heritage.
