George Ord
George Ord was an American ornithologist and naturalist, born in 1781 and known for his contributions to the study of birds in North America. He worked closely with the famous naturalist John James Audubon and played a significant role in the publication of Audubon's "Birds of America." Ord's research helped to expand the understanding of avian species during the early 19th century.
