Genital Warts
Genital warts are small, flesh-colored or gray growths that appear on the genital area, including the vulva, vagina, penis, and anus. They are caused by certain strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV), which is a common sexually transmitted infection. While genital warts are not usually harmful, they can be uncomfortable and may cause itching or irritation.
Transmission occurs through skin-to-skin contact during sexual activity. It's important to note that not everyone infected with HPV will develop genital warts. Vaccines are available to help prevent certain strains of HPV, reducing the risk of developing warts and other related health issues.
