Fulk of Jerusalem
Fulk of Jerusalem was a nobleman who became the King of Jerusalem in the 12th century. He was born around 1090 and was originally the Count of Anjou. Fulk married Melisende, the daughter of the previous king, Baldwin II, which helped him gain the throne in 1131. His reign lasted until his death in 1143.
During his time as king, Fulk focused on strengthening the kingdom and its defenses against external threats, particularly from Muslim forces. He also worked to maintain peace among the various factions within the kingdom, ensuring stability in a region marked by conflict.
