Fried Eggs
Fried eggs are a popular breakfast dish made by cooking eggs in a hot pan with a small amount of oil or butter. The eggs are typically cracked open and cooked until the whites are set while the yolks remain runny, although they can also be cooked longer for a firmer yolk.
There are various styles of frying eggs, including sunny-side up, where the yolk is left intact and not flipped, and over-easy, where the egg is flipped to cook the yolk slightly. Fried eggs can be served on their own or as part of a larger meal, such as a breakfast sandwich.
