Frederick IV of Naples
Frederick IV of Naples, also known as Frederick of Aragon, was a king who ruled from 1496 to 1501. He was the son of Ferdinand I of Naples and belonged to the Aragonese dynasty. His reign was marked by political instability and conflicts with rival factions, particularly the French and Spanish powers in Italy.
Frederick IV's rule ended when he was forced to abdicate in favor of Louis XII of France after the French invasion of Naples. Following his abdication, he lived in exile and later returned to Sicily, where he died in 1504. His reign is often remembered for its challenges and the shifting alliances of the time.
