Frederick IV, Elector Palatine
Frederick IV, Elector Palatine (1574-1610) was a German nobleman and a prominent figure in the Holy Roman Empire. He served as the Elector Palatine from 1583 until his death, playing a significant role in the politics of the region. Frederick IV was known for his support of the Protestant cause during a time of religious conflict in Europe.
He was a member of the House of Wittelsbach and succeeded his father, Louis VI, Elector Palatine.
