Fragonard
Jean-Honoré Fragonard was an 18th-century French painter known for his vibrant and playful works. He was a prominent figure in the Rococo movement, which emphasized ornate detail, light colors, and themes of love and leisure. Fragonard's paintings often depict romantic scenes and playful interactions, showcasing his skill in capturing movement and emotion.
Born in 1732, Fragonard studied under François Boucher and later became associated with the Academy of Fine Arts. His most famous works include "The Swing" and "The Progress of Love" series. Despite his initial success, Fragonard's style fell out of favor after the French Revolution, leading to a decline in his recognition.
