Fort Recovery
Fort Recovery is a historical site located in Ohio, known for its significance during the Northwest Indian War. Established in 1794, it served as a military outpost for American forces and was built on the site of a previous battle against Native American tribes.
The fort was named after the American victory at the Battle of the Wabash, where General Arthur St. Clair faced a significant defeat. Today, Fort Recovery is preserved as a museum, showcasing artifacts and providing educational resources about early American military history and interactions with Native Americans.
