Formosat
Formosat is a series of Earth observation satellites developed by National Space Organization (NSPO) of Taiwan. The satellites are designed to monitor the environment, land use, and natural disasters, providing valuable data for research and decision-making.
The first satellite in the series, Formosat-1, was launched in 1999, followed by several others, including Formosat-2, Formosat-3, and Formosat-5. Each satellite has improved capabilities, such as higher resolution imaging and advanced sensors, contributing to various applications in agriculture, urban planning, and disaster management.
