Ferenc Szálasi
Ferenc Szálasi was a Hungarian politician and leader of the far-right Arrow Cross Party, which was active during World War II. He served as the Prime Minister of Hungary from October 1944 until March 1945, during a tumultuous period when Hungary was under Nazi influence. Szálasi's regime was known for its extreme nationalist and anti-Semitic policies.
Under Szálasi's leadership, Hungary aligned closely with Nazi Germany, leading to the deportation and persecution of many Jews. After the war, he was captured by Allied forces and tried for war crimes. In 1946, he was executed, marking the end of his controversial political career.
