Arrow Cross Party
The Arrow Cross Party was a far-right political group in Hungary, active primarily during the 1930s and 1940s. Founded in 1935, it was known for its extreme nationalist and anti-Semitic ideologies. The party gained significant power during World War II, particularly after the German occupation of Hungary in 1944, when it collaborated with the Nazis.
Under the leadership of Ferenc Szálasi, the Arrow Cross Party implemented brutal policies against Jews and other minorities, leading to mass deportations and killings. The party's rule was marked by violence and repression, and it was ultimately dissolved after Hungary's liberation in 1945, following the defeat of the Axis powers.
