Falkland
The Falkland Islands are a remote archipelago located in the South Atlantic Ocean, about 300 miles east of the coast of Argentina. Comprising over 700 islands, the two main islands are East Falkland and West Falkland. The capital city is Stanley, which serves as the administrative and economic center of the islands.
The islands have a population of around 3,400 people, primarily of British descent. The economy is mainly driven by fishing, sheep farming, and tourism. The Falkland War in 1982 between Argentina and the United Kingdom over the islands remains a significant historical event.
