Event ID
An "Event ID" is a unique identifier assigned to a specific event within a system, often used in computing and data management. It helps track and manage events, such as system logs, security incidents, or application activities, by providing a way to reference them easily. Each Event ID is typically associated with particular details, such as the time, date, and nature of the event.
In the context of Windows Event Logs, for example, each event generated by the operating system is assigned an Event ID. This allows system administrators to quickly identify and troubleshoot issues by searching for specific Event IDs related to errors or warnings in the system.
