Euphemia of Norway
Euphemia of Norway was a medieval princess born around 1280, the daughter of King Eirik II of Norway and Ingeborg of Sweden. She became the queen consort of King Eirik II of Norway through her marriage, which helped strengthen ties between Norway and Sweden.
Euphemia is known for her role in the political landscape of the time, particularly during the Union of Kalmar, which sought to unify the crowns of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Her life reflects the complexities of royal alliances in Northern Europe during the late 13th and early 14th centuries.
