Empress Anna of Savoy
Empress Anna of Savoy was born on September 18, 1684, in Turin, Italy. She was the daughter of Victor Amadeus II of Savoy and Anne Marie d'Orléans. In 1708, she married Joseph I, the Holy Roman Emperor, becoming Empress consort.
Anna played a significant role in the cultural and political life of the Habsburg court. She was known for her patronage of the arts and her efforts to promote the Savoy dynasty. Anna passed away on February 14, 1717, leaving a legacy as a prominent figure in European history.
