Emperor Qianshao
Emperor Qianshao was the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty in China, reigning from 1908 to 1912. Born on February 16, 1906, he ascended to the throne at just two years old after the death of his predecessor, Emperor Guangxu. His reign was marked by political instability and the decline of imperial power.
Due to his young age, the real power was held by regents, particularly Empress Dowager Cixi and later Yuan Shikai. In 1912, following the Xinhai Revolution, the monarchy was abolished, and Qianshao was forced to abdicate, marking the end of over two thousand years of imperial rule in China.
