Emperor Daigo
Emperor Daigo was the 96th emperor of Japan, reigning from 897 to 930 AD during the Heian period. He is known for his efforts to promote culture and the arts, as well as for his interest in Buddhism. His reign is often associated with a flourishing of literature and poetry.
